Making space for women in airfreight
The air cargo industry remains dominated by men, but more advocates are pushing to give women a larger platform in the industry. I spoke with experts and advocates about the challenges.

About this project
A feature I wrote for Air Cargo World's (now Cargo Facts) November 2022 magazine about women in the airfreight industry. Aviation, despite having many women working in the field, is still dominated by men at the highest levels of organizations and in the conference circut. I wanted to explore the barriers to women achieving the same success and opportunities to engage more young people across the board.
